3  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Jaco Pastorius Solo (Fretless Guitar) on: June 17, 2010, 07:38:47 pm
Definitly more funky! I'm not a real big fan of it but it sounds kind of Indie to me. I mean the style he is playing in. Overall, pretty cool, interesting concept!

5  General Discussion / The Best Music Ever Written / Re: What do you think are some of the good rock bands of today? on: June 17, 2010, 07:26:20 pm
Also forgot to mention a few, again this is only my opinion:

Staind
Counting crows
Incubus
Dave Mathews
RHCP
Radiohead
Breaking Benjamin

Again, this is only a few. There are so many great bands, if you have any new names I would love to hear new music Smiley Thanks!

7  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Imagine by John Lennon on: June 17, 2010, 07:14:34 pm
Hmh. That songs makes me so sad! It is shame there is so much violence in the world. It was a hard time, with all the war going on, this music heeled the soul. Great song though Smiley
8  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Jerry Lee Lewis Interview with 13 year old wife 1958 on: June 17, 2010, 07:12:55 pm
 Shocked

That is unbelievable! She is so tiny compared to him! I am surprised they didnt try to end his career and refused deals because of his marriage. I mean it is no ones business but surely a little creepy!
9  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Voodoo Child by Jimi Hendrix on: June 17, 2010, 07:08:49 pm
AGREE! He is the man! It would have been so awesome to see him in concert! I mean he had fans crying and going crazy! There is even a video of him playing with his teeth. That's insane! No one can duplicate Jimi!
10  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: This class was fun and eye opener!!! on: June 17, 2010, 07:07:17 pm
Agreed. I hear the music now when Im flipping through channels and now I am able to point a lot of stuff out or simply recognize the music! My dad has always listened to this music so now I can actually sing along! Interesting class! The music was good, appreciated the talent.
11  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: More Than A Feeling by Boston on: June 17, 2010, 07:02:04 pm

12  General Discussion / The Best Music Ever Written / What do you think are some of the good rock bands of today? on: June 17, 2010, 07:00:54 pm
Personally, me I am an extreme foo fighters fan Smiley They are just un-explainable!
13  General Discussion / The Best Music Ever Written / Re: Today's music can't live up to older Music's standards, like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC on: June 17, 2010, 06:59:45 pm
Hmhhh, I think I can say I feel a little bit of both. Now a days we have so many ways to perfect the sound of someones voice, it really makes you second guess if they have talent or not? Who doesn't lip sing? Most artists hardly play instruments. Then again this is only my opinion.
14  General Discussion / The Best Music Ever Written / Re: I dont think that there is such thing as "the best music." on: June 17, 2010, 06:57:42 pm
I think all music is obviously for a purpose so if it hits the "spot", to each his own. Personally, my tastes in music varies and also changes. It is defininitly something that depends on my mood Smiley
15  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: A different way to use glass bottles on: June 10, 2010, 02:59:21 pm
This is super cool! Some people find talent in the oddest ways. Hopefully I see this in Venice next month!
